Are You Going to Heaven?

DEAR FRIEND,

Are you 100% sure Heaven will be your home one day?

You can know from God’s Word:

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” I John 5:13

I. SIN - Man’s Greatest Enemy

Recently, families in West Virginia were told their loved ones were alive, following the terrible coal mining accident. But only to learn they were not. The Bible states in Ephesians 2:1b “who were dead in trespasses and sins”. We live upon this earth, but actually, we are spiritually dead. We think we will enter heaven one day, but only to learn, when it is too late, that we will not, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God”, Romans 3:23. We have a heart that is “desperately wicked” and we prove that daily by our sins against a holy God.

II. SAVIOUR - Man’s Greatest Friend

Sin demands a payment we can not pay. Romans 6:23 states “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” But a loving God in Heaven provided His own sinless Son to pay your debt. In His grace and mercy, Jesus cried out “It Is Finished.” For Isaiah 53:6 states “and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” His death, burial and resurrection is the “good news”, that your heart can be free from the burden of sin. John recorded in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart at this very moment. His blood will cleanse you from all your sin and Heaven will be your home. I John 5:12 states “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life”.
